Making age a non-factor
A long-term client is the CEO and Founder of a $100-million non-profit with more than 1250 employees working in 6 countries. He travels approximately 90 days a year. Entering his 70s, it is important to focus on mental and physical fitness to keep up with the necessary travel and continue to grow the business.
OBJECTIVE
Create a mentally, physically fit and youthful persona in order maintain the rigorous travel schedule while leading the C Suite and growing millennial workforce.
PLAN
Move the focus of health and wellness up on his priority list. Coaching sessions have shifted from just discussing business to also tackling work/life balance. This shift has opened his eyes to what he wants to do with his success.
RESULTS
Client is able to maintaining the same workload he did 10 years ago. Over the last 5 years, the company has grown 20 percent and has taken on new contracts in the Middle East and India. His body still feels strong and mobile. An example of personal success is that he is able to take a 13-hour flight with a 9-hour time difference and be ready to start conducting business the next day.
ONGOING ENGAGEMENTS
Client is now developing a succession plan to ensure a smooth transition into retirement. His long-term personal plan is to continue to travel the world and live independently.
